Purpose. The tradition never treated the body as an afterthought — it had a whole medical system, and a clear philosophy of staying well. This module gathers its practical wisdom on health: why we actually get sick (and why the tradition, perhaps surprisingly, blames most illness on ordinary physical causes rather than karma), the daily habits that keep the body strong, the deep link between mind and body, and an honest look at where this ancient wisdom lines up with modern medicine and where it doesn't. Throughout, one rule holds: this is well-being wisdom, not a substitute for a doctor.
What you'll practice in this module
Reading the real causes of how you feel, building a few daily health habits the tradition emphasizes (moderation, suitable food, timely rest and movement), tending the mind–body loop, and holding traditional and modern medicine in honest balance. As always: take what's useful, and see a professional for anything medical.
